The goal of Dallas City Scape is to bring together families during the holidays at the interactive exhibit, showcase the Dallas community, and build the foundation for sustainable change in education. The “Building the Foundation” campaign is a unique opportunity to participate in the Dallas Cityscape exhibit, and provide the opportunity for Education Opens Doors to continue to expand its work to empower students. “Building the Foundation” is a "virtual bricks and mortar" campaign, which ensures that 100% of sponsorship dollars are given to the work of Education Opens Doors. A donation of $500 provides you, your family, or your company with a 2' x 1' customizable toy brick. The aim is to create an entire wall of these sponsored bricks, which will be displayed as the cornerstone of the Dallas CityScape exhibit in Galleria Dallas from December 12 to January 4. Your investment aids in reaching the goal to raise $2,500, which will expand the impact of Education Opens Doors' Roadmap to Success Program. Although a $500 donation provides the donor with their own personal brick, donations of any size are appreciated and accepted. For example, a $50 investment allows Education Opens Doors to enroll one student in their yearlong, life-changing program. Education Opens Doors' mission is to empower students to purposefully navigate through high school to college. To date, the organization has empowered nearly 9,000 students with the Roadmap to Success Program, and captured significant gains in college knowledge as well as increases in students' hope for their future. Students across the Dallas area are experiencing the life-changing benefits of the program.
