Parker is a 5th grade student at Wabash Elementary. On Monday 9/28 Parker’s parents took him to his primary care office for headaches, ear/jaw pain, and tonsil swelling. He was initially diagnosed with an ear and sinus infection but when he went back because of more issues that the antibiotics were not helping, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma. They found a large mass in his sinus cavity during a scan of his throat. This devastating news changed Parker and his family’s life forever. This is an aggressive form of cancer that has already grown very quickly in places like his head and neck. Parker is currently back home resting comfortably with his family. He will require many treatments and hospitalizations. These funds will help him and his family with hospital expenses and anything else they will need during this difficult time.
