Taylor Chapman
1st grade teacher
My students are eager learners and come in every day ready to embark on new adventures. Our school is a Title 1 school and over 70% receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch. Some of the population are fortunate enough to have various experiences outside of the classroom, while others aren't. I want to bring experiences to them so they feel they have a chance to be equally successful as anyone else in the world!! My students deserve to have the best experiences in the classroom with out socioeconomic status standing in the way.

My students are an amazing group of kind-hearted and loving first graders. They have an incredible passion for reading and exploring the world around them. Sadly with limited funding it is often a challenge to have the best and newest technology within the classroom. All obstacles aside, my kids show up for school each day with full hearts and an amazing eagerness to learn. I hope to provide them with a love of reading that they can develop and foster in the classroom and keep with them throughout their lives.
