At Insight, we take a collaborative approach to achieve effective outcomes for our students. We provide a unique data-driven methodology that supports behavioral, emotional, and social development in the children and adolescents we serve. Our combined programs and services utilize the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Insight Academy is a K-12 private school and behavioral clinic located in Berea. At the academy, students are supported by highly trained staff in all areas of behavior and education, and the program is headed by our CEO and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In addition to traditional large-group instruction, students receive individualized instruction in small groups based on academic and behavioral assessments completed at Insight. We strive to make programs as individualized to the needs of the students as possible and create academic content that is accessible to them, utilizing both an academic curriculum that meets state standards and an evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional curriculum. Our academic curriculum incorporates learning activities focusing on Science, Technology, English, and Mathematics (STEM) that are tailored to each student’s individual abilities. We offer a variety of programming that targets the academic and behavioral needs of our population of students.
