Help Fund Magazines for Newsworthy Students

The Description

With these funds I will... purchase 13 subscriptions to Junior Scholastic, a news magazine geared for middle school students. This will be a great challenge for my upper elementary gifted students. The magazine comes once a month and is accompanied by all sorts of resources--quizzes, projectables, etc. It's so important to incorporate current events into the classroom, but it's hard to find news resources that are appropriate for elementary schoolers, both in content and level. This will be the perfect way to keep my students informed on current events as they develop into global citizens.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase... fewer subscriptions. My students would have to share magazines instead of each having their own.
