The Description
With these funds I will purchase a Wobble Chair for any second grade student to use that is struggling to stay focused on their work. Students struggling with attention issues tend to struggle with staying seated and on task. I feel that this chair would allow them the movement they are needing while being able to stay on task in their work area. This would be a very utilized tool in my classroom.
Back Up Plan
If I do not meet my goal I will purchase a cushion at a lesser cost that they can sit on in their desk chair.
About the Creator
I am a fifth-grade teacher in Missouri's public school system. Our students come from diverse backgrounds. Some come to school with a lot weighing on them. I strive to be able to continue to make my classroom a welcoming and safe place for all students to gather.
