With these funds I will purchase discovery kits (listed below) that are related to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).  21st century students need many learning opportunities that encourage reasoning, critical thinking, collaboration, design, and logic.  Quality and consistent instruction and self-discovery STEM opportunities will further prepare students for the global economy they will live and work in as an adult.  I would like to offer STEM materials at various learning stations that I have set up within my library.  Our library is a frequently visited classroom at our school.  Therefore, I try my best to offer many educational and engaging student centers that promote curiosity and discovery.
