Building Problem Solvers & Critical Thinkers With Pythonroom
$378
$353 goal

The Description
Almost all of the jobs my students will hold in the future will require them to have working knowledge of technology and programming. This year I want to engage my students in coding lessons with Pythonroom. Not only will it help them build critical skills in computer science and programming language, but it will also Develop key critical thinking and problem solving skills.
With Pythonroom’s curriculum students will have access to over hundreds of problems that will move their understanding past basic block-based languages and will have them coding in an actual programming language. Since Pythonroom is designed for teachers, it will also allow me to identify common misunderstandings as well as to how best apply these skills in the real world.
This is where you come in! Pythonroom comes at a small cost and every dollar you invest brings it one step closer to my students.
Here is the breakdown in cost for fundraising for Pythonroom
- Pythonroom - $300.00
- Preferred Partner Program - $35.30
- PledgeCents Platform Fee - $17.65
- Total - $353.00 (rounded up to the nearest dollar)
Back Up Plan
If I do not meet my goal I will purchase a monthly subscription for my class. If I can just get $35 I can start this month. The class will end in June so I can actually get by with $210. I will use whatever I can get and just adjust my class to use it during the months I can get.

You did it!!

Thanks for all those who came through with generous donations. Students have started using Pythonroom and it is going great. Students are motivated and able to work at their own pace. This allows for more advanced students to move on and others learning code for the first time to work at a comfortable pace.
