Google Chromebook Classroom

The Description

I have a dream ! I have a dream for each of my kids to walk into my classroom each morning and begin working on their individual Chromebook on assignments just for them. I have a dream to watch my children complete research projects because they have all the information at their fingertips. I have a dream to watch my students practice typing their spelling words. I have a dream that my students who don't have access to a computer at home will learn computer skills. I have a dream that my students are using the latest edition technology everyday. I have a dream and you can make it come true by supporting my cause.

HI! My name is Holli! I'm a second grade teacher who believes that our children deserve to be given the very best tools. I'm asking you to partner with me to give my students a leap in the right direction by providing each student with a Chromebook. Help me bridge the learning gaps in my classroom.

With these funds I will purchase a class set of Chromebooks for my classroom. Technology is so expensive and school districts are falling behind. I would love to have a class set of Chromebooks so my kids can each have their own device as we use technology to enrich our classroom learning experience. Let's face it, technology is no longer just the future, it is here. The children in my classroom would use these chromebooks daily. I have attended a workshop this summer specifically on how to use Chromebooks in the classroom.  Schools are being left behind because of funding. I can put a Chromebook in the hand of everyone of my student for just $165 (http://amzn.to/29KFMrX). I would like to have 21 chromebooks for my classroom. I have included the fees that will be assessed by PledgeCents in my need. Please help our my students.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase as many Chromebooks as I can with the money that I can raise.
