With these funds I will purchase the Makey, Makey starter bundle.  The students can use everyday objects to trigger the Bits and control cursors on our computer's keyboard, or even control our computer with Bits.  The Makey, Makey starter bundle is perfect for students and experts doing art, engineering, and everything in-between.  This bundle includes the Makey, Makey Bit and the Deluxe Kit for a total of 19 bits and 9 accessories.

This will be so awesome for our new Maker Space that we are creating for our creative students at our school.  We want to offer an enrichment that our little inventors can access during enrichment time. Learning by doing provides in-depth understanding of concepts with application to real-life scenarios.  We have students who are accelerated learners and would love to invent and share their inventions with our students in the special education program.  The students who learn best by visual and touch will have an enrichment that will enhance their excitement towards school.
