The Description
With these funds I will purchase the following:
17 Booklets of 20 Forever 55 cent Earth Day Forever Stamps- I will be mailing my 4th/5th grade students a physical handwritten letter each month from August to June. Building relationships through online learning can be tough, so I want to go the extra distance in providing my students with surprise mail each month filled with positive growth and acknowledgements. (total cost $187 through USPS)
30 white boards, erasers, and dry erase markers- I am creating a care package for each student to utilize during distance learning. I will be including these boards which will be great for them to use when we are practicing math. (total cost $59 on Amazon)
36 Pack of Erasable Pens- I will provide each student with an erasable pen from this pack, for them to utilize during distance learning. The erasable pens make writing more interesting and engaging for students. (total cost $35 on Amazon)
Single-wide notebooks (18 per pack, ordering 2 packs) - I am providing a colorful notebook for each student to journal in with their erasable pens. These notebooks will give my students a space to write their thoughts on paper. Technology is a great resource, but paper and a writing utensil hold a valuable place in ones educational experience. (total cost $49 on Amazon)
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal I will purchase these items myself because I feel it is essential to provide my students with these physical items to continue on the experiences of the classroom beyond the computer screen.

Erasable Pens and Notebooks

Some supportive members of my military spouse community have covered the cost of the notebook and erasable pens! I also had a friend purchase a booklet of stamps. I am so incredibly blessed and excited for the school year.
