The Description

With these funds I will be able to purchase various art supplies and art storage for my kindergarten students. My students are between the ages of 5-6 and attend school in the San Francisco Bay area. Many of my students are English- Language learners and many of my students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program at our school. Many of my students do not have the materials they need to be successful outside of school. I provide the majority of the supplies on my own for students in and outside of the classroom. They are extremely vibrant and eager to learn each day. They are extremely hands on and to the best when they can create something to represent their thinking.

This money will directly impact myself and my students in many ways. First, it will allow me to purchase much needed art supplies for my students. I want to get a art supply organizer that is easily accessible to my students to put various craft materials in, such as the one below:

I would also like to get various arts and crafts materials for my students. With these materials (links below) my students will have endless opportunities to be creative in the classroom. We use art to show our thinking at the end of all our units of study and simply as a way for the students to express themselves. My students barely have access to crayons at home so I am hoping to provide them with exciting opportunities in arts and crafts in the classroom that they can take home and be proud of.  Here are some of the craft supplies I would like to purchase:

Collage Frames - Set of 15 ($29.99 per set):

Roll-On Painters - 10-Color Set ($19.99 per set):

Classroom Collage Box ($59.99):

Air-Dry Puffy Paints - 6-Color Set - 4 Ounces ($19.99 per set):

Decorate-Your-Own Tote Bags - Set of 15 ($19.99 per set):

These materials and possibly some paint would make a huge difference for my kiddos!

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase as many arts and crafts materials I can with the donated funds.

Fundraiser Updates (1)

Thank you so much!

April 12, 2016

Thank you so much for your investments to this cause! We have been busy winding the year down and even though I did not get the full funding for my cause, I was still able to buy several things for my students to get artsy with! I bought the collage pots for them to decorate and plant their seed in for our plant unit and they loved it! I was also able to buy paint for them to use and a few decorative materials! They had a blast! Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations!
