The Description

With these funds I will purchase new STEM materials for my classroom.

Science concepts add self-esteem for disabled students and the development of increased empathy, understanding, and leadership potential among non-disabled students as more reasons to support inclusive science classrooms. The my Create - A - Chain Reaction STEM Kits will help my students build STEM knowledge such as gravity & motion. The BeeBot Programmable Robot will introduce m students to coding and programming while giving them experience with cause & effect, and directional language. These science and engineering concepts will allow STEM to come alive in my classroom. The math items such as the shape sorters, read and solve world problem center will build my students math concepts while increasing their comprehension and language skills. My will students build science and engineering concepts with the wind tunnel discovery center. This center will allow them to explore awesome effects of wind and air flow. My students will also have hands on experiment with cause and effect which is critical to understanding new science and math concepts. My students are unique learners and do not learning through the traditional methods. Having hands on materials will bring alive new science, math, and technology concepts. Every student should have the opportunity to explore and experiment with science. My goal is to bring science alive with every student in my classroom. “Science is not simply about knowing information—it is equally a way of trying to make sense of the world.” This quote is ideal for my students. Students with special needs do not learn all the same way in the same order. My students need the opportunity to explore concrete real world application in science and math.
