I work in a high poverty area, and my students deserve to have great things. I am working hard to update our library from the 1980 to 2015, and I believe a fresh coat of paint will help move that along.  

With these funds I will purchase paint for the library. My library is currently white, and if I would like it painted I will have to do it myself. I believe the library should be a inviting place with colors that pop. My students agree with me since they have told me multiple time how boring the white walls are. I agree with my young designers. I would like to paint it yellow, blue, and green. If I can purchase the paint, I will paint it myself over the summer. I will have a limited time to do it between summer school and the school year, so I would like to purchase a one coat paint. I see every student in the school weekly, and I would like the library to be a favorite place to go. I would also purchase blue painters tape along with paintbrushes and rollers.
