My students struggle with reading. I would like to make reading an engaging, inviting, and successful experience for them. Giving them flexible seating options is one way of doing this.

I would like to give my students the opportunity to experience the four Cs: choice, community, collaboration and comfort. I would like them to have a choice of where and with whom they work. They will build community by sharing space. Students learn better when the collaborate in pairs or small groups. When they are comfortable, they tend to be more calm and foucsed. Flexible seating will promote the 4 Cs.
