With these funds I will be able to purchase a CD/Cassette player and wireless headphones for my listening center.  My students love to listen to stories and this purchase would greatly benefit our new literacy center rotation.  I have a wonderful group of students who love to read and work very hard to reach their goals. With the purchase of this listening center I would be able to expand our literacy centers beyond what we are already doing.  Listening to stories and someone else read is an important step in the Reading process.  I would like to be able to give this experience to my students.
