With these funds we will send coaches and athletes to camp this summer.  FCA Camp is a life changing experience where athletes and coaches are challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ and to use the platform that they have to impact those around them.  Often times there are athletes that want to go to camp but they simply can't afford it.  Last year we were able to give out 9 (one coach and 8 athletes) full scholarships to camp and it was a life changing experience for them.    

FCA has the desire to do ministry \"to and through" the coach.  If we can get coaches and their families to camp, we can encourage and equip them to use the influence that they have to impact their campus for Jesus Christ.  Billy Graham once said "a coach will impact more people in one year than the average person will in an entire lifetime."  We believe this is true and we want to use FCA camp as a time to invest in coaches and their families so they will have a greater impact on the students they coach and teach.   

The cost per camper for the FCA Sports Camp at Texas A&M is $395 and the cost per family to attend the FCA Coaches Enrichment Camp is $1000.  You can find out more about FCA camps at http://texasfcacamps.org/.
