The 53K ski team is back this year and anxiously awaiting our school ski trip! My school is a special education school that serves students from 9th grade through their completion of school. We teach our students through a variety of hands-on experiences including trips. 

Our ski team creates these once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our students.

The team looks forward to this trip every year, and they get many intangible benefits from participating in this team sport of skiing. They love not only skiing together, but also supporting each other and seeing each other succeed. 

My ski team would be absolutely delighted for the opportunity to go on a trip to the Adaptive Sports Foundation. They have trained hard all year and for them to have the chance to go to a mountain to actually have the chance to ski would be a dream come true.

This trip will give my team memories that will last a lifetime!

The entire experience is one that they will be telling their friends and families about for years to come. Everything from the bus ride through the mountains, to seeing the ski resort for the first time, and even stopping at McDonald's on the way back, will bring so much joy to the team.

A trip like this can't happen without your support, so my team and I would like to thank you so much for whatever you are able to contribute to our adventure!

ASF is a non-profit organization that provides profound and life changing experiences for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities and chronic illnesses through outdoor physical activity, education, support, and community.

The Adaptive Sports Foundation provides a variety of opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to discover a lifelong passion for physical activity. Since 1984, the ASF has provided 78,000+ adaptive lessons which allowed 13,253 individuals lead healthier and more active lives.
