Hi everyone! As many of you know, I have embarked my career as an educator with Teach For America in San Antonio, Texas. In a couple of weeks, I will have my own classroom where I will be teaching 2nd-grade dual language at Franklin ES. I am excited to meet my children, their families, my colleagues, and the community that I will be growing with. However, there are many challenges that I face as a first-year teacher, and one of the main challenges is providing my students with all of the materials they will need to actively engage in their personal and academic growth.

I will use the funds that I raise to purchase the supplies needed to welcome my students to a well-stocked classroom that would not otherwise be available to them. Above all, I will use your donations to create a positive environment that fosters learning and development for every student. Thank you so much in advance for supporting me, and more importantly, my students, as we embark on this exciting learning journey together.
