Student Leadership Program

The Description

Student Leadership is raising funds to support and enrich our program for students in a high-poverty, high-trauma area. Our mission is to empower students to become effective leaders, responsible citizens, strong advocates, and positive contributors to their community. Funds will be used for educational field trips to places like the Oregon State Capitol and local courthouses, school-wide events such as student dances, and essential supplies to ensure all students can fully participate. Your support helps create opportunities that inspire and equip the next generation of leaders.

Back Up Plan

If external funding is not secured, our backup plan is to raise funds internally by selling goods through the student store and charging admission for school dances. However, this approach is not ideal, as many of our students come from low-income households and may not be able to afford these extra costs. This could limit student participation and prevent equitable access to the full benefits of our leadership program.
