With these funds I will be able to create a more equitable learning environment for my 7th grade math students. I want my classroom to be a place where students can utilize different methods of learning in order to engage with a subject that is often challenging in a way that is best suited for them. With your help, I can make that a reality for the roughly 150 students that will walk through my doors this year (and in the future!) through the purchase of manipulatives (counters, algebraic tiles, etc.) and other interactive resources like a classroom set of white boards. 

Last year, Oklahoma ranked 47th in the nation in education quality. It is no secret that Oklahoma schools are not receiving the funding they deserve and need in order to give all students an education that will prepare them well for the world waiting for them. Despite this, I am determined to provide my students with the best mathematical resources possible.
