The Description

Kindergarten is the year that students learn to read.  I am very fortunate to have many books in class that my students have fallen in LOVE with and they are obsessed with reading these books.  YAY!

With YOUR investment, we will be able to:

*read to each other

*create reading circles and have book discussions (prepping us for COLLEGE!)

*continue to nurture that LOVE of reading

With these funds you will continue the RIPPLE EFFECT.

When my students read MORE, they learn MORE.  The more they LEARN, the faster they will be able to ACHIEVE results to get access to higher education (AKA: COLLEGE!)

When our Comfy Seats are not in use, we will share with our buddy class so they can reap the benefits TOO!

Our scholars deserve to experience books and reading in a safe, quiet, and comfortable space.  Many of my students do not have this luxury at home, so our classroom is the perfect place to nurture their reading lifestyle.

We will purchase a complete set of 30 seats from Lakeshore.  The total is $275.  We have not included tax, but feel free to invest a little more to cover that too!

Thanks so much for your support.

Back Up Plan

Every little bit helps!  For every $55 we raise, we will be able to purchase 6 Comfy Seats.  Our goal is $300 so we can get one for each student in our class.  But our students know and love to share, so we will take any investment made to our class and get Comfy Seats a little at a time :0)
