The Description

This year I want my students to be able to build their higher order thinking skills by engaging them with the proven practice of knowledge mapping. With Ideaphora my students will be able construct, retain, and apply the knowledge they learn in class. With Ideaphora’s platform my students will not only consume technology but they will use the digital space to identify, connect, and analyze concepts.

As a part of preparing my class for the 21st Century I think it is critically important for them to discover their own ideas and think critically not only about classroom topics but also the world that they engage in. Hi! I am a third-year 6th grade science teacher in Dumont, NJ. As a single-mom of three, I went back to school for education because I knew that there was more to life than increasing corporate profits. Becoming an educator was one of the best decisions of my life. I spend every day thinking about how I can inspire my students and guide them to be great citizens and leaders.
