With these funds, I am looking to get 3 new titles into the classroom. Many of the books we have don't deal with real problems my students face every day. These three books "A Child Called It", "Annie's Baby" and "Book of David" all deal with teen pregnancy, abuse and coming out. These are books I feel my students need to have access to. With the $50, I will be able to get 2 copies of each book to add to our classroom library. These books were chosen by my students themselves. We will use these books to help with our quest to read 1 million pages by the end of the year.
