This year I wanted to replace our old desks (which have the chairs connected to them) with tables to create a more flexible environment. The tables would allow me to purchase flexible seating and give my students a variety of options for where they feel they would learn best. Our tables need chairs, and I am hoping to add some stackable chairs to go along with our other flexible seating options. I believe some of my students would appreciate having the option to sit in a normal chair. I have seen firsthand how beneficial flexible seating is. My students are extremely hardworking and love being able to move around while we do our reading lesson. I have noticed a tremendous amount of growth within my students when they have the option to sit somewhere other than their desk.
