The goal of Young Audiences of Houston’s Healing Arts programming is to use the tremendous power of the arts to spread joy, give hope, manage pain, support treatment, and leave positive memories for hospitalized children and their caregivers at the Texas Medical Center.

Your support pays for artists to conduct bedside programs, workshops, and performances in dance, music, theater and the visual arts! By contributing to this cause, you are supporting thousands of children and youth suffering from severe illnesses such as cancer.

Healing Arts started 17 years ago and continues to grow to serve as many children and youth in different hospitals including Texas Children's and MD Anderson. Many hospitalized children are required to be out of school for extended periods of time, Young Audiences of Houston programs serve to enrich the children’s social, cultural, and academic education.
