I am approaching my 2nd year in my Teach For America commitment and excited to build off the success I established last year while continuing growing along the way. Last year with the support of friends, mentors, family, and my student's motivation and effort my classes outperformed my campus, district feeders pattern, and district averages. This is rare for a first year teacher and I couldn't have done it without support!!

I teach in South Dallas, TX and I have seen the impact resources can have not only on a student's education, but on their personal and professional trajectories. Thus, I'm looking to combine my own resources with those of my friends and family to continue impacting the trajectories of the upcoming 140+ students I will be leading this year.
