MacArthur Model United Nations is a five-year-old organization that allows students the chance to explore global issues as they take on the roles of UN delegates.  Students interact with other teenagers from around the U.S. and other countries as they attend Model United Nations conferences.  The goal of Model United Nations is to create interest and knowledge of international affairs in its members in order to form the of leadership skills such as public speaking, crisis management, and objective, critical thinking.  

     The funds raised through our PledgeCents campaign go directly to helping offset expenses for registration and travel to the conferences we attend.  Model United Nations San Antonio, the largest conference we attend, alone will cost nearly $100 per student.  Organization members pay 60% themselves, but we are looking to the larger community to help get us to 100% funding for this and other conferences.  Thank you for your help and support as MacArthur Model United Nations strives to build a new generation of leaders.
