Every School Day Counts

The Description

With these funds I will...

purchase incentives for my scholars who have perfect attendance monthly, quarterly and for the entire school year.
The attendance rate is important because students are more likely to succeed in academics when they attend school consistently.
It's difficult for the teacher and the class to build their skills and progress if a large number of students are frequently absent.
I want to emphasize to my scholars that every school day counts.
One strategy for improving attendance is engaging scholars and their families in an approach that offers positive rewards for attending school.

Scholars with perfect attendance each month will receive a small incentive such as: pencils, books, puzzles, stickers etc.
Those who have perfect attendance for the quarter would receive a larger incentive such as: a day out with the teacher, pizza party, ice cream party, etc.
And for those scholars who go above and beyond and show up for school every single day I would like to reward them and their family with tickets to an amusement park.

My hope with incentivizing attendance is that all my scholars will show up for school each and every day.
And when they do not come to school they then can let their families know that it is important for them to come to school.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will not be able to purchase as many incentives for this project, please help us reach our goal.

Thank you so much for your donation. Also for valuing your child's education. It takes a village to raise up a child. in working together the possibilities are endless.

Very happy that my childrens school/teachers care about their future just as much as we do!! This is the least we can do to help them out. They are a positive role model in their lives as well. We will continue to donate what we can through out the school year.
