The Description

With these funds I will provide 80+ English language learner students in grades K-5 with an opportunity to better our community. They will participate in a Kindness Workshop through Blankets of Hope and I will purchase the blankets for them to give away to a person in need as an act of service and compassion.

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our fully funded goal I will still use these funds to provide the workshop and blankets to as many students as the funds allow. ($7 per blanket/student)

Blankets in the way!

January 2, 2023

I was able to raise enough funds for 30 blankets.  I contacted Blankets of Hope to donate these funds for the blankets. They were impressed with my initiative to raise my own funds and are sending me 5x the blankets! In the next few weeks around 150 students in my school will be able to participate in the kindness workshop and then gift their blanket to someone in need.  Thank you again for your support!
