The Description

Teachers and students are going on 9-day trip to different parts of Spain: Lisbon, Extrememadura, and Madrid. Students and teachers are already having to pay a substantial amount to attend. For that reason, the teachers involved in the project are hoping to raise funds for students while there in Spain.

With the funds, we will purchase 3 lunches. Two will be in Spain at the village where the excavation is taking place. The other one will be in Portugal. We usually do this so we don't have to worry about the students purchasing their own lunch and to help offset the cost. We also like to raise funds for a sweet treat. This past March (our last trip to Spain), we had chocolate and churros in Madrid!

We are also hoping to purchase gloves and a few other items that are needed for the excavation.

Lastly, we are hoping to raise funds to purchase funds for trees and anything else we might need to complete the project. This helps us offset cost for our students.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase necessary items first such as the supplies needed for the excavation (trees, gloves, etc.).
