Purchase a full year subscription to Nearpod.com, an interactive teaching platform. Nearpod allows me to receive instant feedback to analyze student understanding of a topic. Nearpod allows me to take my students on digital field trips and external websites that are controlled by the teacher. Students are directed toward the most important details and helps avoid unwanted online distractions.

In the 2015-16 school year, I made all of my lessons interactive using Nearpod and students have frequently commented that social studies was more enjoyable than previous years. Next year, I plan on bettering the lessons I have already created and enriching the material in a way that students will be even more immersed in U.S. History.
