Meet the amazing students at KIPP: Academy of Innovation in East Los Angeles. We call our students Innovators because they are creative, they are problem-solvers, and they are passionate about growing their brains. One of they ways our students exhibit their passion for learning is through reading. Every student at our school has a goal to become a millionaire by reading at least 1,000,000 words in one school year.

Our awesome students read anywhere from a 1st grade level to a 12th grade level, but our library does not have enough engaging reading material to reach every student. With the funds raised, we are hoping to buy several books that are engaging to middle schoolers, no matter their reading level. Access to these books will help every one of my students fall in love with reading! I am hoping to purchase at least 100 new books for our classroom library. Some of our dream books include:
