purchase class sets of novels.  I will purchase a class set of "So.B.It" by Sarah Weeks and a class set of "Milkweek" by Spinelli.  Having a class set allows each students to follow along as we read aloud.  This allows my struggling readers to visualize and hear the words without having to read each word independently.  This is a huge benefit.  Class sets also allow students who do not have a personal copy to take one home to read. This is a great way to encourage reading in the home.  Students feel a sense of pride when they have their own personal copies of the books they read.

My students word hard and want to succeed. It is my job to provide them with everything they need to be successful!
