These funds will go to sponsor 10 students' trips to Disneyland to participate in the Disney Performing Arts Music 101 workshop in April 2019. We are very fortunate that Disneyland is within 5 hours' driving distance so that our students can participate in these workshops without the added cost of an overnight stay. Many of the students at our school have never been to Disney and all have met a long list of eligibility criteria in order to be able to go.

For example, these students must have:

• A GPA of 2.5 or better for the first 3 quarters of the school year
• Maintained an A- or better in music for the first 3 quarters
• Never dropped below a C- in math or English class in the first 3 quarters
• Never received a suspension
• Never been sent out of their music class for their behavior
• Never been sent out of other classes more than 2 times for their behavior
• Shown good character and citizenship inside and outside of music class
