With these funds I will purchase an inquiry based reading program called Junior Great Books for my gifted students.  Some of the materials I can reuse for future school years with gifted students.  The materials will be able to be shared with other teachers at my school for their gifted students.  The program includes a teacher's manual, stories on CD, student books, and consumable student journals.  The teacher's materials include guided lessons, differentiated plans, and assessment tools.  It can be difficult to get materials for this population of our school.  This program will offer rigorous texts for our gifted students to dive into and look for deeper meaning and connections.
