The Description
With these funds, I will purchase supplies to create a charging station for students to store their phones during class to charge their phones and "unplug" themselves. I hope that this will provide more opportunities for students to connect with the material, stay focused, and engaged.
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal, I will purchase as much of the supplies as I am able. The remainder of what I need, I will purchase over the next six months with my funds to make sure that the station is ready for the next school year.
About the Creator
I am a high school mathematics teacher at Washington Union High School in the small town of Easton, CA just outside of Fresno. I look for ways in which to enrich the education and learning of my students for the short term and long to help them become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners.
