Multi-Sensory Room for Elementary School

The Description

With these funds my school will be able to purchase equipment to make a multi-sensory room for all students at my school. Equipment for sensory rooms are very expensive, and can cost upwards of $40,000-$50,000. Eventually, we will need to raise more funds, but we want to start small and make a big impact. The Multi-Sensory room will be open to all special needs students, early childhood students, and students with behavioral needs in the school. The room will help to enhance students' communication, socialization, independence, sensory processing, decision making, relaxation or stimulation, and improved gross and fine motor skills. It will include equipment such as bubble tubes, special lighting, interactive wall panels, interactive projects, soft rocker chairs and padding. All of these tools are imperative to help our students succeed in school and in life, and we hope you believe in our project as much as we do! Please donate today to make this dream a reality.

Back Up Plan

We are currently looking into foundations and grand opportunities to bridge the gap between what we need and what our school can raise. We plan to work tirelessly to secure the funding we need for our students.

Half Way To Our Goal!

May 7, 2019

As of the week of April 25th, 2019 our school was lucky enough to be picked by the Christopher Douglas Hidden Angel Foundation to support our efforts in making a Mulit-Sensory Room. Our school and the foundation have worked together to create a design plan and a budget for the the overall expense of the room. The best part is that the Christopher Douglas Hidden Angel Foundation will pay for half of the expense!!!! We are so honored and blessed to have this opportunity to work with the foundation. The total cost of the room will be $22,824, so our school only has to come up with $11,412 to make this dream room a reality. This is where we need your help and the help of the community to support our students. Please share and donate if you can to get us closer to our goal! Step up and make a difference in the lives of our students!
