take my students on field trips around our city.  Early Childhood research says, children need exposure to different places in the community to help build their vocabulary and reading skills.  Field trips are the best way to ensure my young students have as many opportunities to explore as possible.

My students work hard, but many only visit their school, the store, and home.  They deserve a chance to explore the world around them.

I will be purchasing admission to Sci-Port: $6 a person for 22 children; bus fee for one bus for 2 field trips comes out to $30 each.
