With your help, I have been able to purchase materials to decorate and organize my classroom, as well as purchase supplies to ensure ALL of my students have a successful start of the school  year. 

On August 9th, I will begin my first year of teaching 8th grade math at Animo Phillis Wheatley in South Los Angeles. One of the biggest hurdles that students in high need schools face is a lack of the necessary materials that are needed daily. It makes it infinitely more difficult for students to take part in activities and classwork when they do not have basic supplies.

To continue to support the students in my classroom, I will use the funds that I raise to continue to maintain the supplies needed to support my students This will allow me to provide the required supplies to students that otherwise would not have them.
