The Description

This is the first CrossFit Kids P.E. class to take place in the history of KIPPLA Schools. KIPPfit athletes not only learn about living a healthy and fit lifestyle, but they also gain confidence, practice teamwork, and develop grit as they overcome challenges and learn new skills through daily WODs.

My athletes are the hardest working group of middle school athletes you will ever meet! They arrive to each KIPPfit P.E. class excited to learn new skills and movements. They push themselves and their fellow teammates on a daily basis through the warm-ups, skill  practice and workouts. Student athletes reflect on their workouts at the end of each period and create new goals for the next class meeting.

Currently we are working out in our school's parking lot area. We are lucky to be in California and have such beautiful sunny weather on a daily basis but this also means that is can get very hot during our class periods. PE takes place for 5 periods a day Monday through Friday. Your dontation would directly impact and be able to provide protection from the sun for 392 students. Your donation of any size will give my student athletes more motivation in KIPPfit and encourage them to be fit and healthy.

With the money raised I will purchase five 25' x 19' shade sails from amazon on this link here: shade sail. Each shade sail costs $170. In addition to shade sails we will also need to purchase ten installation pole kit which cost $23 each. We are hoping to raise $3,000 to cover any extra hardware and labor costs needed for installation. 

 

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase as many shade sails as possible with the money raised.
