The funds generated from this cause will be used to complete the GCHS Athletic Fields bathroom/concessions project.  We need toilets, sinks and other plumbing and building materials to complete the bathrooms.  For years, our athletes, staff, parents and visiting teams have only had portable toilets available for use on the Baseball, Football, and Soccer Fields.  Our community spent the last two years working on a number of fundraising projects to complete the block building that houses the restrooms.  Our goal is to complete the bathrooms as quickly as possible to give our Spring Sports access to the facilities.  Exercise is an important part of educating our students.  With obesity rates on the rise, physical education in school has become critical to teaching our kids positive exercise habits.  Completing these restrooms will allow our grade school students more access to physical activities on the athletic fields.  These restrooms will provide a more positive experience and view about physical education and sports for all the students, student athletes, parents and staff and demonstrate GCHS's dedication to building excellence in academics and athletics from the inside out.
