Another Year of Learning!

The Description

With these funds I will be able to get my classroom ready and rolling for the 2019/2020 school year. These funds would help ensure that all of my students have what they need to have a successful school day, regardless of personal financial situation. I have a new classroom, and 75 new faces to prepare for, and school starts very soon! Please help me ensure that my room is a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment  

 

Any money donated would be prioritized towards immediately necessary supplies like pens/pencils, paper, ink, etc. If I am able to meet my goal, other money would go towards building our little classroom library!

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal, I will purchase as many materials as possible. I will prioritize the materials that are most essential to students (pencils, paper, etc.) as they are the most important to ensuring that students can participate in daily lessons.

About the Creator

I am excited to be a part of the TFA family and join the movement to solve education inequity in this country and provide all students with a quality education. I'm fortunate enough to be selected from a nationwide talent applicant pool to join a teacher corps comprised of leaders who commit a minimum of two years to teach in high need public schools. This summer I will be participating in an intensive skill and knowledge development program aiming to increase student achievement as well as a comprehensive professional development program including seminars, discussion groups, workshops, and content and professional learning communities specific to teaching license areas. I can't wait for my first year with Teach for America.
