Classroom Basics
$500
$500 goal

The Description
As a TFA corps member I have committed to join the movement against the educational inequity that exists within our country. Unfortunately, systemic forms of oppression perpetuate educational inequity and make it so that the quality of a child's education is dependent on her/his zip code or the color of her/his skin. I am committed to fighting against this inequitable system, until ALL children have access to a high quality education.
In a few short weeks I will be in charge of my very own fourth grade classroom at Vision Academy @ Riverside in Indianapolis, IN and my fight against educational inequity will officially begin. The unfortunate reality is that many of my students do not have access to the resources or the materials that are necessary to be successful at school. The goal of this fundraiser is to use your donations to create a successful learning environment for all of my students. Every single dollar that is generously donated will be used to support the learning of my students. I will be using these funds to purchase classroom supplies such as...
- Pencils
- Notebooks
- Folders
- Binders
- Markers
- Dry Erase Markers
- Erasers
- Crayons
- Hand Sanitizer
- Tissues
- Clorox Wipes
- Post-It Notes
- Highlighters
- Staples
- Chart Paper
Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
Back Up Plan
If I do not reach my fundraising goal, I will use your donations to purchase as many supplies as possible, starting with those that are the most essential.
