Hosea 4:6 "My people perish because of lack of knowledge."

In the US, 20 people are physically abused every minute and countless more suffer mental and emotional abuse. I became part of that statistic when I was a child and know the suffering from abuse first hand. I was healed through the word of God to find out who am I, what my purpose is, where my power lies and recognize what kingdom I'm living in (Matthew 6:33). Through my experience, I found my calling to help others who have been plagued by abuse to overcome the suffering and free themselves.

Starting The Silent Retreat Cry Center has been passion of mine for the last 20 years. In that time, I've become an ordained minister in 2003 and have been able to touch countless peoples' lives everyday. But to make the impact and reach those who need it the most, I now am taking the steps to setup The Silent Retreat Cry Center as a 501(c)3. The name "The Silent Cry" is about people who are hurting on the inside and keeping it to themselves. "Retreat" is about turning back to God to find true purpose. Those are the people we want to reach to fulfill their purpose in life.

Mission Statement: The Silent Retreat Cry Center was founded to reach and to teach the word of God to mankind particularly those who have been plagued by a lifetime of abuse. We will evangelize as we conduct outreach across the nations in an attempt to reach those who are suffering on the inside, and help to identify Satan’s strategies so that they may free themselves from his attack on their mind. We will empower people to function and fulfill their individual purpose here on earth.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to file the necessary documents for The Silent Retreat Cry Center to receive its 501(c)3 status and operate for the next 6 months. To do that, we have hired a consultant to help us with the filing and outlined our budget (below) and strategy for the next 6 months, including website, marketing and meeting room costs. To start, we'll be conducting workshops around the Houston area and bringing people together under one roof to touch their lives and show them that they aren't alone.

I'm ready to give back what God has given me to help those that have suffered from low self-esteem stemming from bad experiences in their life. What has happened to you is not who you are. What you've been through is not who you are. I want to help show everyone who they are based on the word of God.
