With these funds I will... purchase books from Scholastic online. I have been teaching for 23 years and a number of my books are either not the current 'must reads' or they are well-loved and worn. The students have been sharing with me what books they want to read. If I want to create future readers and leaders it is very important that I work hard to provide my students with books that they don't want to put down.

Scholastic currently has a boxed set of 14 "Captain Underpants" books for $59. The students shared they would love to have me order more of these particular books for them. With the remaining $40, we would purchase single books including some of these titles: two of the new "Wimpy Kid" books/"Old School", and four Robert Munsch books - "Pigs", "Dark", "The Paper Bag Princess", and "I Have to Go".
