Hello!

My name is Ashlynn and I am a first year secondary math teacher! I am so excited to embark on this journey and join the fight for educational equity. I want to give back to the community that has helped shape me the past few years. 

My sister is my driving force and the reason I know that every child is capable to succeed far beyond their dreams. She faced many developmental delays and struggles throughout her education. However, with the assistance of an amazing team she has soared and reached great heights! She encourages me to be that teacher, mentor, and leader for every student. I know that no student is the same and is going through their own personal struggles, however I will be there for them every step of the way. 

I would appreciate and be grateful for any support you are willing to give. With the distance learning model, I want my students to know that I am still here and able to support them. Whether they are sitting at home with help from parents or at home trying to help their three other siblings on top of their own homework, I am here for them. With these funds I hope to arrange drop-offs providing earbuds, notebooks, pens, or whatever is needed for students to actively learn.
