I will purchase 15 copies of Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick. Having several copies of this book allows students to follow along as we read aloud.  This allows my struggling readers to visualize and hear the words without having to read each word independently.  This is a huge benefit.  Having multiple copies also allows students who do not have a personal copy to take one home to read. This is a great way to encourage reading in the home.  Students feel a sense of pride when they have their own personal copies of the books they read.

My students work hard and want to succeed. It is my job to provide them with everything they need to be successful!
