Collinwood High School Tennis Team

The Description

Each season the Collinwood High School Tennis Team faces financial challenges to cover the necessary costs for a sports team. These costs include uniforms, equipment, and transportation expenses. Tennis is unable to charge an admission fee due to the open style of our courts. Thus, we must look at other ways to approach raising funds for these necessary costs.

Your donation will help with these costs by providing funding for the student athletes. By reaching this goal, we should be able to pay for the needed uniforms, equipment, and travel expectations. The transportation expenses are especially important as competing our district matches determines our players ranking in the district. Your generous donation will go a long way in bridging this financial gap.

Additionally, if we can raise beyond the goal, we would like to work towards the purchase of a tennis ball machine for practice. This machine will go a long way in helping the students develop their strokes. The continuous shots provided by this machine provide a much more reliable way to practice.

Thank you for your consideration of donating to the Collinwood High Tennis Team.

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our goal, we will use the funds donated to purchase what we can and pursue other methods to finish raising the rest of the money needed.

About the Creator

I am Patrick Brewer, the 8th Grade Science and Computer Science Teacher for Collinwood Middle. I enjoy teaching the students and, hopefully, inspiring them to reach further than they had dreamed of before. Additionally, I handle chess club and yearbook for the middle school.

To top off my roles at the school, I am the coach for the High School Tennis Team where I enjoy sharing with the players the joy of tennis. I hope to always set an example of how to be kind, caring, and fair while also giving it your all especially on the tennis courts.

Finally, I help oversee a small local church in the county. I am proud to be a part of my community and enjoy giving back to it.
