Learning is Fun!

The Description

Students learn best through hands on engaging activities! My classroom is made up of 10-15 students who all have some kind of learning disability. They continue to work at making progress with the general education curriculum, but they require lots of extra support, and alternative ways of learning. Students in my classroom become frustrated very easily, and in order to help ease this frustration I would like to provide them with more opportunities for learning to feel fun for them.

I would like to stock my classroom with different games that require students to apply the skills we are working on in the classroom in an interactive, more relaxed activity setting. Giving my students this opportunity will make the concepts I teach them in the classroom have a more instant application to something in their life. In this instance a game! Students will practice their skills and have fun at the same time.

I would like to be able to have a variety of games for the many concepts that students need to build strength in. Skills in the areas of math and ELA. Below is a list of games I would like to provide for my students. I have found every game on www.learningresources.com.  Games range anywhere is price from $10 - $40 each.

I want my students to feel confident, and I believe that games are a great way for them to practice their skills and feel successful. My students work hard each day and I want them to feel as confident in their learning as their peers in the general education setting.

Below I have listed the names of the games as well as the skill being practiced in the game that I would like to purchase for my students:
